Talking about government annual check on loft insulation. Had postcode info etc. Verified me as the homeowner wanted to know if anyone else lived here then started talking about the type of insulation I had in the loft. This was the 'in' to pass to a manager to arrange a site inspection and offered home visit the same day. Advised I was uncomfortable with the conversation and requested the info via email so I could review. Wouldn't send anything via email, I ended the call on the premise of having a meeting due to start. Tried to call back again, ignored the call and blocked the number.

This number number rang me last night about 7pm. I always google these numbers and as soon as I know they are scammers, I block their number on my phone. After that, if they ring again, my phone doesn't ring and their call goes straight through to my voicemail. Most of the time they dont leave a message, but if they do I just listen and laugh then delete their voicemail. I did contact the TPS years ago and I didnt get these calls, but after a while these scammers start calling with different numbers. They wont ever get the better of me because I am too smart.

Can’t stop this number calling me, even though I never answer it, have reported it on my iPhone as a scam call.

Someone saying it was about loft insulation and loft safety checks, very pushy about it being a yearly thing. Obvious scam to sell you something.
