Three days they have been calling me then passing me to Scottish power. Is it really Scottish power?

Called already knew details of my energy provider and asked for post code.Once i told them I was not interested the Scottish guy became angry saying why I was wasting his time and said that I did not need to check reviews of their company and why I would I wait for him to speak about all the offers then tell him that I was not interested.He was very pushy and persistent.He was also shouting at me

They knew my name and my the energy supplier’s name and claimed to offering me the opportunity to change supplier and find me a better deal in the view of energy prices due to increase in July and again in October-November this year. When I said that I was not interested, they were very pushy and insulting. Seeing that I wasn’t convinced by what they were saying, he passed the phone on to his “line manager”, who said that they were not selling anything, so I didn’t have to be wary of scam. Also, he said that if they wanted, they could easily scam me using AI, without the need to call me, because they know my name, my address and they could come whenever into my home. That was scary. He also said that nobody made me answer the phone, and he implied that if I answered, I have to talk to them and answer to their questions.

James Rang me. I have a phone that can identify the caller. He sounded shocked. Told him I was a Barrister and said if they continued to call me I would take them to court and gave him the option of hanging up now. I didn’t know if he was joking or not, but he asked what a barrister was. This shows the mentality of the numb sculls who work for the company. The worrying thing with this company is that he was talking about a property who I know the owner but don’t own myself. I told him I owned six other properties and he then wanted to persue then. In the end I managed to advise him to successfully hang up. I’m waiting for the next call and there will be a shock waiting. Always record the calls from this number. I do to ensure clarity.

Energy price comparison apparently, didn’t like me saying I wasn’t interested

Just received a call from this number. Android flagged it as potential spam, so I used the 'screen' function where a polite automated voice asks the caller to say what their call is about. The caller hung up immediately without speaking.

The caller was offering to change the energy provider , was very pushy and harassing ( very strange language and accent ) , has name of my energy provider . I found it dangerous .

Claimed to be from a bill comparison service and mentioned British Gas. They talked about my energy usage and tried to convince me they could reduce my bill, but the details did not add up and it felt misleading so I did not proceed.
