They said they were calling from the British Gas outbound team to make sure we were on the best rate. They weren't pushy and very polite when I said I recently renewed and ended the call.

It was a third party company who then transferred to British Gas - they didn’t ask for any bank details and the lady who helped me was polite and not pushy.

Said was calling from Rescue Energy - knew my name and postcode. Put me on hold to 'get me a quote' then after a minute of being on hold they hung up. Have blocked.

Several calls with no message. Answered today, they used my name and said they were from British Gas. Hung up when I asked questions.

Didnt give any personal information nor was i asked for any knew my name and address changed me to a cheaper tariff with no charges made no bank details asked for genuine British Gas sales call to move me onto a cheaper tariff than what i was already on completely safe wasnt pushy or rude didnt ask for any personal information or bank details !!

Keep spam calling once I’ve blocked the number they phone from another one and somehow know my name

Answered it today as it constantly rings lady started speaking and somehow got a hold of my name? Not sure what to do but it would constantly ring me. Blocked it now hopefully won’t get anymore but definitely a load of nonsense do not give any person details!.

This number won’t stop calling. If I don’t recognise it, I ignore it. When I blocked it, it tried again from a similar one. Scam tactics.

Claimed to be from OVO talking about electric then someone else started talking about gas and soon as I said iwas on prepay meter for electric and monthly bills for gas they cut phone of ,HARD LUCK TO THEM

Its BRITISH GAS. Its not harassing, nor dangerous. Its just a sales call. If you don't want it. Politely tell them so and end the call. No dramas.
