This number is legit, the reason it comes up with spam caller is because they call thousands of numbers a day not because they are scammers. This number is based in Hull because they are British Gas centre based in a Hull Call Centre who have multiple company’s working there. The call centre pays thousands of pounds to gain these contracts with such companies and then there are horrible horrible people who abuse their staff because they believe it is a scammer. They do not ask for personal details, they only need to confirm postcode and house number so they can give you and accurate quote or so they can make sure they are speaking to the account holder depending on the department calling. British has an acquisitions and retentions department based in the hull call centre. If you all just sat and listened for more than 2 seconds without being rude then you would know these people are just trying to do their jobs.

01482293795. This number has called me over ten times.They say they are British Gas and want to save me money on my energy bills.

Had a lady called Hiba mukhtar try to convince me she was from British Gas, very overly pushy trying to get me to change providers to them. Clearly a scam as the email sent was fake and their number is not registered with British Gas

Rung me twice on the same day. Don't know who it is. My mobile automatically says its spam. Probably a telemarketing scam.

Claimed to be from British Gas. Very pushy with their sale of hive.

Claimed to be from Hive. They said they work with British Gas. Asked me for my email to send me more details. I think they don't work so close as they didn't know my email.... not sure what to think of this call...a cold call?
