Pretended to be my service provider. Couldn’t answer any relevant questions. Blocked

Scam attempt. One of several calls to a 93 year old person. Fortunately they are switched on enough to not be conned. The caller from this number, reported to be from some sort of utility company and attempted very hard to obtain bank details, because they were needed apparently to protect the elderly person! Absolute nonsense, they were trying to get the bank details in order to thieve off the person. The number has not been blocked, reported to action Fraud UK, and delete it. Well done to the old person who recognised it as being an attempt at theft.
