Claimed to be from 02. An Indian call centre could be heard operating in the background. 02 do not cold call. This is a known scam. A much cheaper contract is offered with 02. The contract is switched to another service provider. Often the first that the account holder will hear of this will be on issue of the first bill. By then it's too late.

This number called my landline but I didn’t answer so they left a “message” on my answer machine (silent) then hung up.. The code is one in my local area which made me think it could be real call! Sadly just sales

Looked like a local landline. After a slight delay a man introduced himself as David from a window company and asked how I was. I ended the call immediately.
