Hi just received a call from this number saying they wanted to change my meters. We have only one gas is outside and they told me they couldn't put one there. It put him not making excuses about when I was told and new meters coming along its a scam

This IS the Eon Next Smart Meter team. After receiving a call from them this morning to book an appointment to fit a Smart meter for our Gas (already have one for electric) i became concerned after seeing all the scam comments. I rang Eon Next customer services and they confirmed the appointment has been booked and the number was not a scam.

They ring me every couple of weeks maybe ? It flags up as telemarketing on my mobile . I have never picked up . I ignore it and shortly after l get a text message saying it’s EON phoning about smart meters. I don’t block it because then l’m sure whoever it is would just continue with another number .

Another scam saying its EON to upgrade your gas and electric meters what a load of cobblers as already had smart meter installed 2 years ago block this number.
