Cold calling about insulation and didnt seem to care that I quoted article 7 of the GDPR to them. She even said "ok, I'll call you back" and hung up as I was explaining the legal requirements of article 7 and clearly requested they delete my details and contact number. I fear they'll be calling back as she didnt seem to know what GDPR was...

If you pick up and it's silent for a few seconds I always put the phone down as it's always and unwanted sales call. I've learnt my lesson.
