They just didn't answer when I said hello so I rang off.

Claimed to be from Vodafone offering me 30% of my current plan. They asked me to confirm how much I paid last month and when I said they should know that already if they were with Vodafone the line went silent for a few seconds and I hung up.

They wanted to know 2 characters from my password as the first security check.
I said - since she called me - she should first confirm my name.
She said she would confirm once I confirmed 2 characters from my password
I said I'd confirm if she confirmed the first character from my first name.
She put the phone down on me.
