I have been having the same call from different no.s for the last 6 weeks asking to book in an engineer as something was wrong with my account. I gave no details and put the phone down, they rang back 4 times in one day. i have double checked with British Gas and they have confirmed it was a scam.

CALLED AGAIN FOR THE 10000th time claiming to be from British Gas, told him I would just get the meter numbers and kept him on the line for 10 minutes listening to him saying hello hello helloooooo haha play him at his own game people hes a scammer

Claiming to be from SSE trying to force a renewal - SCAM

Said they were from EDF and that there was a problem with the gas meter point number for our business. He stated what it should be and when I refused to log in and check and asked him to email me he quickly said "f**k you" and hung up! Nice.
