Scam. Had all my details but clearly a scam. Hung up when I said I’d paid cash for my car.

PCP scam, offered £5k compensation. Worrying thing is they had name, phone number and car reg. They soon changed their mind when I told them I paid cash for my car! :)

Bogus PCP claim call. When asked what their company was, they kept saying PCP claim. Eventually gave me a name of a legit company. Asked me some more details which i then stated should be on their system.....clueless foreigner that hung up under pressure.

Called stating I had made a car insurance claim. Had my registration number and car make correct. When I said I hadn't made a claim and asked them to remove my number from their database he hung up.

Some sort of debt agency who's bought defunct accounts and tries to get people to open a payee account. VERY DANGEROUS number!

Call today stated they were Mercedes Finance Credit, and then claimed I was owed for missold finance for my car, they had my name and actual registration, told them they were talking rubbish as I have never had finance, and I paid cash, they then promptly hung up, foreign accent obvious scamming call centre. Blocked.

Yet another scam caller using pressure tactics. Best action is to block the number immediately and not engage at all.

Asked if I had received compensation for a car I no longer own. Said I was due £5000 for a manufacturer's fault. I said he was talking rubbish and hung up. Number now blocked. Scottish area code but didn't sound Scottish.
