American accent sounded like a computer company AT and T, didn't bother to find out more just blocked them.

Call from a lady saying she is calling from EE and asking me if I can advise what phone I'm using. Told her I was already called by EE (probably another scam number) the day before and I know what she's calling about, and I'm not interested. She was confused, repeated that she's calling from EE but I repeated I wasn't interested in any promotions and ended the call. Most certainly a scam, I've had some genuine calls from EE for offers and this is not how they start the conversation.
