Girl called and tots that my washing machines guarantee had ran out. Totally a scam

This girl phoned telling me my machine guarantee had run out and they were sending out paperwork to renew the guarantee. I never take out guarantees on white goods so know it was a scam.

As my mobile blocked these numbers as a suspected spam, I tried to find who called, not got anywhere online . I rang that number on a different phone ,there was an answer phone stating you were called today by homeshield direct .
