Another spam call saying it was from British Gas. I blocked the call and rang off

I answered silently, then woman spoke and asked for me by name. Said she had a few questions to ask me. Told her to answer mine first, which company are you from? I'm from UK was answer, when I said no not country, which company, she hung up! Why?? Obviously not genuine phone call
