A young man's educated voice called yesterday saying he was my "local health adviser". I immediately thought NHS but he refused to confirm that he worked for it and would not answer any other questions: Offered me an emergency call device on a free trial, but want me to sign up for, including bank details so that if I liked the device the transition to payment would be seamless. Ho! Ho! That number is Aldershot and I live in the south-west, so it rather stretches "local".. He could conceivably be prosecuted for impersonation. A dangerous scam.?
