Asking me to change my tariff as I pay by direct debit which I don't so hung up, I never trust these kind of numbers so now blocking

Called offering me a cheaper tariff, told me to hold the line to transfer me to a customer service number, message kept repeating ‘hold the line while we connect you etc…’ got suspicious so checked number on here and hung up, so thank you!

This number has called my phone numerous times, today I answered to find out who it was, the call disconnected straight away with no answer. It has just rung again & left a message asking if it was (my name) I’ve just searched the number & found this page so am also reporting that it’s a dangerous number.
