Just mumbled some words about being 'in the area' and then hung up halfway through, realising he was leaving it on an answerphone. Interestingly, we're not only with the TPS, but very few people outside of friends and family have this number EXCEPT Vodafone and Anglian.

We got a call re loft insulation: the same bloke calls every few months,despite being told "no thanks".

Voice said they were a local energy advisor. I told them where to go basically.

This was a clever recorded message that just went on and on in a loop Scare tactics re loft insulation and damp and mould in roof spaces.

Came up on the phone screen as a nuisance call, so didn't answer it. Seeing previous reviews pleased me, considering my number is logged with the Telephone Preference Service, which obviously they do not recognise.

This caller interrupted me when I told him I was on the telephone preference service. I had to repeat it again, and then he stopped the call. As it is not the first time this caller has bothered me, he obviously did not note last time that he should not have called me again. I shall report him to the TPS. He was trying to sell insulation, using the excuse that it was something to do with the government scheme. Let's hope this will stop him calling me again.
