Caller claimed to be from O2 asking about reception, then pushed an offer. Scam.

As above said they were from O2 asking if I had been experiencing any issues with signal lately and was I happy with my contract - I said no expensive with price increase . Offered me a new Sim to fix issues and 40% discount as long standing customer. Needed to provide my email address- at this point suspicious and hung up they tried to ring back. 4 times

Called and said it was O2, offering me a discount, as a long term customer. I said I would call back and they said it would only take a moment, if I could provide my email and address. They were insistent i call back on this number. Believe this to be a scam, cant imagine O2 are that keen to be offering me a 40% discount for a year.
