I have had several calls from people saying they are local energy adviser, the latest called Jane. I believe the number is spoofed. Other numbers are being used. If they ask if you are the home owner say no and they usually go. I had several last year and they stopped now started again. Also no point in blocking as they come back on another number. My number is ex directory and TPS registered for what that is worth as it isn't stopping what seem to be spoofed numbers.

Been getting calls form this number for last 3 weeks despite being on TPS. Number now blocked but they will only call again under a different number

I did not answer and no VM was left, so can only assume that it was someone cold calling.
Do not answer if you do not recognise the number, if its important they will leave a message or call back.

'David' from Windows & Doors - straight into his spiel- no preliminaries, no simple straightforward explanation for his call. Hallmarks of a scam/con in my view. I said goodbye & blocked the number.
