Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) automated message informing me about a power cut in my area.

Rang about ten minutes ago from Scottish and Southern Power re power cut in my area. Yes there was an outage but only lasted a second however it could have been out for others longer. I did not press 1 but no one has rung back. I think it is safe but will show as neutral.j

I had the same experience as the previous comment. The call was from Scottish and Southern. They had all my details and asked me to press 1, which I did. So far nothing further. There is no power cut.

Phoned at 0415 twice to say power cut! There was no power cut

SSEN called at 6.45 am to say power cut in my area (Aberdeen) and asked me to push button 1 to acknowledge receipt of recorded message. There was no problem with power supply
