Caller reached out regarding assessments for heat escape via window setups on our neighborhood soon to happen. Inquired if he could schedule me for a quick check over the following days assuming i would be around. I explained that my place already has the double layer protection and the only real upgrade would involve a significant outlay for the triple option to make any difference. Yet another time waster from the fraud side. What concerns me is how he had my personal identifier and location details on hand. This points to some unauthorized data grab somewhere making the whole thing feel even more invasive and risky for privacy. These operations often start with seeming helpful offers but quickly pivot to pushing unnecessary services or extracting more info that leads to bigger troubles down the line like unsolicited quotes or worse identity plays. Better to hang up and report to keep the net tight against them.
