Will I need a new handset? If so, do you sell them?

You might need a new handset and yes we do sell them in our online shop! Take a look at our scenarios below to see what you might need.

  • If you are still using a traditional landline with an analogue phone, you have 2 options.
  1. You can purchase a compatible adapter from Phonely & keep the handset you're used to.
  2. Or you can invest in a new digital voice handset from Phonely.
  • If you have already moved over to a VoIP home phone system & you have a digital voice phone, it will not be compatible with Phonely's systems, so again, you have 2 options.
  1. You can invest in a new Phonely handset which you can plug in & use straight away.
  2. Or you can keep your existing digital voice handset, however, you will have to configure it to use it with your Phonely account. Unfortunately, this isn't something our tech team can offer help and support with, but of course, we will still support and maintain your account.
  • If you have already moved over to a VoIP home phone system but kept your analogue phone & used an adapter, the adapter will not be compatible with Phonely's systems. So you will need a new adapter from Phonely or you can upgrade to a new Phonely digital voice handset.

NB: Have you just signed up with a new provider but now reading this information want to try Phonely instead? We advise you to check to see if you're still within your 14-day cooling first, and if so, you can cancel without any problems.
