Thankfully phone call screening is on so before I answer it asks them why they are calling. As soon she heard, she hung up.

The operator(s) (indian woman) called (the number said from Truro) and tried to rush through her script, mumbling about a merger between o2 and Virgin phone network, saying they were sending a new sim card to my address - she proceeded to ask if the number they were calling me on was from O2 - I said yes (it wasn't), then wanted my email address - she passed me to a male colleague who tried to put on an Irish accent - it was rubbish (tbh) - when I questioned why they were sending me a new O2 sim - he passed it back to the indian woman - at that point I got frustrated with the whole performance and cut the call.

Selling medical alert devices for seniors with fall detection. Caller was persistent and used scare tactics about health risks. Shady.
