1. 38pm Man with foreign accent sounding rough and menacing. He said I owed more than £400 to a domestic insurance company which they would take from my bank account by tomorrow and I must pay it. He repeated the sum. I said he was a scammer. He was furious and said something like if I didn't pay up, I would soon find out. He was quite frightening and some vulnerable people could fall for it.

Foreign accented person called saying he was from Domestic & General. I have not had any current accounts with that firm for years. He then launched into a long spiel about something or another at the end of which I repeated that I was not a customer of D & G. He then ended the call.

Rang my landline. Since its unknown I let the answerphone take it. They left a short two word message that gave no info about who they are. Basically spam or scam or just plain nuisance call. Avoid.

Received a call from this number on my landline at 07.43hrs in the morning today. It was a female with a foreign accent who went straight into a conversation about kitchen appliance insurance. She spoke about grouping all appliances on the same insurance cover. She said she was from United Insurance and started by asking for my postcode, which I didn't give but questioned her on why she was phoning so early in the day. I was suspicious about this call and cancelled the call.
