I received a call from a woman who stated I had submitted an application for a care role. She addressed me by my full name and asked about my availability for an interview. I clearly explained twice that I had not submitted any such application and that they had the wrong person. Despite this, she repeated my full name and continued to refer to the supposed application. I firmly clarified again that this was not me and that they must have incorrect details (Considering I'm now married). After this, she apologised and ended the call.
Although the caller apologised, it was concerning that my full name was known and linked to an application I did not make. This caused confusion and concern regarding how my details were obtained.
