I have been contacted several times from this number & after reading other comments regarding the same number I have come to the conclusion that this is a scam & insist that if anyone else receives a call from that number, to report it & block 🚫 it! Thank you all!

Have had 4 missed calls in the past 2 hours! Blocked one 0800 number and they call off another one! So annoying.

We are not answering when this number shows up on the phone but they keep ringing. Will try to block it but our phone is already full on its blocked numbers!!

Once I blocked the 1st number ending 7925 after checking here, they rang me on this number which I have now blocked.

Yesterday, following an advert [whilst reading the Guardian] on my phone from "Utility Discount" which required me to put in my details, which I foolishly did; I had a call from 0800 098 7925 within 2 minutes. I was offered a monthly price cut on my electricity bill of around 30%.!!! They wanted to change it over there and then. When I said I would check it out, they cut the line. This obviously raised alarms. Since then, I have been receiving calls from this number, which I blocked. Now I am getting calls from 0800 652 1503! This is treachery of the first order when you're elderly and shivering at home!

phone call saying he could change my payments for gas and electricity to £140.00 per month, said he was from octopus energy, said I would ring him back to give myself time to check, glad I did.

Have had 3 calls over a number of days. Phone says scam and dangerous that is why i am checking it.
