Rude and sharp tone, especially when I called her out for not being genuine. Threatened to disconnect the electricity meter if I hung up!

claimed to be from british gas about my renewal. didn't like the fact that i knew i wasn't then when i called him out as being a scam call he became very sarcastic and copying me

We are a hotel so when he said he was a take away driver looking for number 45 I did not dismiss it at first. my colleague knew there was no one in that room, then he said oh while I have you on the phone who is your energy provider typical scam call saying they can provide better rates on my energy bills.

very heavy accents,difficult to understand. Wanted my Bank details for a refund owed to me from Broadband supplier. Phoned twice

Female called claiming to be phoning on behalf of SP advising there is a problem with my electricity meter and it needed replacing. She gave me a time slot and a ref number then transferred me to her colleague who also said there was a problem with my meter and I would be reimbursed for all costs! I asked how did he know there was a problem and his reply was basically you are a difficult woman so I put the phone down. They had very heavily accented voices and thankfully didn’t phone me back!

Kept phoning back. I stopped answering call and finally he hung up, I blacklisted him.

Claimed to be from national grid. Wanted our meter reading. Very broken English. After us putting phone down, She rang 3 times in concecion which we ignored.

Claiming to be from BT offering a 30% discount on bill - then wanting to verify with date of birth. Very insistent!
