Anytime I receive a short silent answer phone message it's always off the same sort of numbers, either they are nuisance sales calls or worse scam artists. Block them every time and do not click links or reply to texts.

Nuisance call. Caller with foreign accent wanted to help resolve my mis-sold car finance. I advised that I have never had car finance that I only ever bought second hand cars with cash payment.

They just ring me saying they from Vodafone . Indian lady in the phone telling me I will received discount with my next bill for bad reception

Unsure what they were calling about - came up as suspected scam so I used the AI Screening feature on my phone and they immediately hung up. Personally that tells me that it is indeed a scam call as any serious company would say why they are calling

Claimed to be EE managed to trick me with security check to access my EE hub and changed my email so I was blocked from my account

Local energy advisors from the energy dept rang to promote loft insulation services. Feels forced and not something I signed up for at all. These calls disrupt the day and often lead to more if you engage even a bit. Better to screen them out from the get go to keep peace.

This number called today 24/10/2025, he was my local energy advisor,if there is such a thing which i doubt, but the dialling code isn't one of the local ones and isn't even in the same county so i would think it's some sort of scam so beware!
